About the Presenter:

Rick Krivanka has served as director of the Pastoral Planning Office for the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland since 1979. He provides consultation, facilitation and project management services to parishes and diocesan organizations related to planning, organizational development, research, spiritual growth and leadership formation. He also has done consulting work with Appreciative Inquiry and strategic planning within local organizations, public schools, and other faith communities.

Rick has an M.S. in Organizational Development and Analysis from Case Western Reserve University, 1981 (MOD 3) and a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 1972 from Case. He began his first career as a consulting civil engineer. In 1995, Rick received the Lumen Gentium Award from the National Conference for Pastoral Planning and Council Development in recognition of outstanding leadership and contributions in support of pastoral planning within the Catholic Church. He and his wife Barbara are the parents of four young adults - a daughter and three sons.
